Police organized a volunteer search of the area near her father's home. That afternoon, teenager Thomas Hurst went to the London Police Station with his mother and stepfather and turned himself in. Naomi was found in his mother's apartment a block away from where she was abducted. She had been sexually assaulted and hidden in a duffle bag.
Thomas Hurst is currently serving a life sentence for her murder, with parole eligibility after 25 years.
