Naren Shankar is a writer, producer and director of several television series. Naren Shankar is a writer, producer and director of several television series. As a writer Shankar has contributed with works for Farscape, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Night Visions, The Outer Limits, The Chronicle, seaQuest DSV, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. After receiving B. Sc., M.S. and Ph.D degrees in Engineering, Physics and Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, where he was a member of The Kappa Alpha Society, Naren joined the team behind Star Trek: The Next Generation. As a producer Shankar has worked with UC: Undercover and Farscape and has directed episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation. He also contributed to Doom.
