The show started its making in 2007, and it had its premiere on October 30, 2007 in Serbia, on Fox televizija. However, the main creator of the series, RTL Televizija decided to screen the show in early 2008, in their new winter schedule. The show began to air on January 3, 2008., but after 12 episodes, which were screened in the 45 minute format, RTL Televizija decided to stop its soap opera "Zabranjena ljubav" and put "Ne daj se, Nina" in its time-slot. The show is airing on a daily basis, from Monday to Friday, and in a half hour format. The first season of this show was completed in 2008, but there were some speculations that the second season won't be filmed at all. The scenes are taking in Zagreb (Croatia), Belgrade (Serbia), Bosnia & Herzegovina and Macedonia.
