Nell Scovell is the creator of the television series Sabrina, the Teenage Witch on ABC and The WB from 1996 until 2003. Her other TV writing credits include Coach, Monk, Murphy Brown, Charmed, Newhart, "Letterman", "NCIS" and many others. She has a brother, science teacher Ted Scovell of Friends Seminary in New York, a sister, Julie Scovell Kaufman, a sister, novelist Claire Scovell LaZebnik, another sister, children's author Alice Scovell Coleman.
