The festival hosts film, music and art events in Las Vegas, New York and Los Angeles. The festival is associated with the movie distribution company ITN Distribution and publishes the Independent Film Quarterly magazine. The festival has hosted works by such directors as Abel Ferrara and Mark Mahon. In 2007, the Founders' Choice award for Best Documentary went to Laya Project, which was directed by Harold Monfils.
