NewsWatch on Channel 15, popularly known as NewsWatch 15, is a 24-hour regional cable network based in New Orleans, Louisiana. NewsWatch 15 began in 1988 as a partnership between WWL and Cox, which serves parts of the Greater New Orleans area south of Lake Pontchartrain, the Greater Baton Rouge area and the Acadiana region of southwestern Louisiana.
Viewed on cable channel 15 in the New Orleans area, the network rebroadcasts the latest edition of WWL's "Eyewitness News" 24 hours a day. It also simulcasts current live newscasts, and broadcasts breaking news when preempting content on WWL's primary channel (channel 4) is deemed unnecessary.
