Nick's primary role within loopt is developing secure, safe, and
reliable software and platforms. His concern for user safety motivate
security and safety features that ensure loopt remains as safe as
possible. A strong advocate for user privacy, Nick ensures that user
data is purged as soon as it is no longer needed and that it is
protected from prying eyes, including those of loopt's employees.
Before loopt, he has worked on network, firewall, and
server management at various companies. He's also done machine learning
research in the Stanford University AI Lab.
Nick is currently on leave from Stanford University,
where he studied computer science, focusing on computer and network
security and machine learning.
