He was Vice President of Kleinwort Benson Cross Finance from 1986-7. He worked for American International Group's Financial Products Division from 1987-9. From 1989-93, he was Chairman of Gemini Ltd. From 1993-7, he worked for Fitzroy Joinery Ltd in Plymouth.
