Nicholas Yeazel (born December 12, 1948) is an American broadcast journalist for CBS News. Young is the current anchor of the morning World News Roundup on the CBS Radio Network. He was born in Princeton, Illinois December 12, 1948.
Young's broadcast career began in 1968 in his hometown of Princeton, Illinois. After graduating from the University of Missouri's School of Journalism, in 1971, Young joined the team at WLW Radio in Cincinnati where he hosted an overnight telephone talk show.
In 1975, he joined the staff of WEEI Radio, Boston as midday anchor. Later, in 1979, he moved to the morning anchor slot at WHDH, Boston. While at WHDH he anchored coverage of a chemical spill that earned him several accolades.
From 1983 to 1990 Young worked as a correspondent for RKO/United Stations/Unistar Radio Networks.
