Nickelodeon Movies was originally to be launched in May 1993 under a co-financing deal with 20th Century Fox, but the launch date was delayed to 1995, hence Fox transferred their duties to Paramount Pictures.
On August 21, 2006, Nickelodeon Movies and MTV Films became full labels of the Paramount Motion Pictures Group.
