Nikolai Nissen Paus (1877-1956) was a well-known Norwegian surgeon. He was a consultant surgeon at the Rikshospitalet (the National Hospital), director of Vestfold Hospital (1918-1947) and was President of the Norwegian Red Cross from 1945 to 1947.
