Nisha Ganatra (born in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian film director, film producer, writer and actor of Indian ancestry. She is most well-known for her acclaimed films Chutney Popcorn and Cosmopolitan.
Ganatra graduated from the New York University (NYU) Tisch School of the Arts. She is openly lesbian.
