Nisha Ganatra (born in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian film director, film producer, writer and actor of Indian ancestry. She is most well known for her acclaimed films Chutney Popcorn and Cosmopolitan.
Ganatra graduated from the New York University (NYU) Tisch School of the Arts. She is openly lesbian.
