Nishanth represented his district in both Badminton and Cricket as early as at the age of 13 years.
He expressed keen interest in mathematical puzzles and problems since childhood. This interest has shown up on the numerous talent awards he has bagged.
He finished schooling with distinction and joined the National Institute of Technology, Allahabad to pursue his education. More silent and calm were what he was known as in College. He was known for his computer skills, specially into cracking and exploiting systems. This he says he picked up after a dreadful sequence of events in college. Called the Bluffmaster, he was known as someone who could get a person to believe in something even with the person all knowing about it (* MNNIT College Yearbook 2006).
He later on went to Texas A&M University, College Station to proceed with his higher education for a Masters degree in Computer Science. This was when he had an opportunity to research with Nokia Research Labs, Palo Alto. His work later turned out to be significant to the field of collaboration, specially for low power limited bandwidth mobile devices. The framework he worked on is supposedly to optimize such applications for bandwidth and processing power requirements.
Best known for his interest in Security, Cars, the Guitar and Gizmos, Nishanth is also known to be fascinated by languages and human psychology.
