Nordenfelt-Maxim company

Nordenfelt-Maxim Company was formed as a merger of the Hiram Maxim's company, the 'Maxim Gun Company', and Thorsten Nordenfelt's 'Nordenfelt Guns and Ammunition Compan'y in 1888.  It merged with the Vickers company to become 'Vickers, Son & Maxim'.  The company existed in various forms as Vickers. More
