Macdonald attended grade school in the early 1970s, at Alexander Wolff School, on Canadian Forces Base Valcartier, outside Quebec City, where his parents taught. MacDonald has said that he was a student in his father's class, and that he had to call him "Mr. MacDonald" while in class. His father was his home room teacher for 2 years (Grade 6 & Grade 7) at Alexander Wolff School in the early 70's and his mother Fern was also a teacher in the same school on CFB Valcartier outside...
