The North Texas State Hospital (NTSH) is an in-patient mental health facility owned by the State of Texas and under the Texas Department of State Health Services.
Its two campuses in Wichita Falls, Texas and Vernon, Texas (55 miles apart) comprised after concatenation of two separate facilities (Vernon State Hospital and Wichita Falls State Hospital) make it the largest state hospital in the Texas mental health system.
