Suede's debut album was the fastest selling debut album in UK history when it was released in 1993 and held that record for over 10 years. During their career Suede graced over 40 front cover magazines in the UK and won the mercury music prize in 1993, as well as receiving 5 Brit nominations. Suede went on to sell over 5 million records worldwide, including 5 top 10 singles in the UK with their "Coming Up" album in 1996.
