They are indestructible under most circumstances and possess various supernatural powers.
In the series, the Objects were created when the Event wiped Room 10 of the Sunshine Motel from history. Room 10 was displaced in space and time, as were the Objects, and each object was given supernatural powers.
So long as the Objects are outside the Room, each is indestructible and possesses a supernatural power of some sort. These powers, though unique to each item, are not necessarily useful; for example, the Comb stops time for ten seconds, whereas the Wristwatch can hard-boil an egg placed within the band.
