Odie continues to bother him, and Garfield initially plans to punish him but then he decides to dig out Odie’s favorite bone. Odie returns to the door with the bone in his mouth, and after pawing at the door does no good, he wanders off into the city.
He ends up wandering into an alley where he finds a tough dog named Butch surrounded by two female dogs. Odie tries to make friends with them, but they quickly spurn him and then Butch takes his bone. Odie demands for the bone back; Butch’s response is to literally kick him out of the alley.
