Ogdensburg is a city in St. Lawrence County, New York, United States. The population was 12,364 at the 2000 census. The name is derived from land owner and developer Samuel Ogden. The City of Ogdensburg is at the north border of New York, on the south bank of the St. Lawrence River. It is the only city located in Saint Lawrence County.
