Orrie is from South Texas. He is the only original member of Sa Sanctuary. He resides in San Antonio when not touring with Sa-Sanctuary. Orrie plays Ibanez Prestige 8 strings, Jackson (dr-7) and ESP (m-207 and m-607) 7 string guitars. Orrie also uses Carvin amplification and Curt Mangan 10-46 strings.
