Otomar Hájek

Otomar Hájek is a Czech-American mathematician, known for his contributions to dynamical systems, game theory and control theory. He got his Ph.D. at Charles University in Prague (1963) on a thesis entitled Dynamical systems in the plane. At the same place he joined the mathematics and physics faculty (1965-68), before moving to Cleveland and Case Western Reserve University (1968-95) as professor, becoming an emeritus (1996-).
