Our Lady of Mercy Catholic High School was established in 2000, the first new Catholic high school in the Atlanta area in over 45 years. It is a small, private, college-preparatory high school located in Fairburn, Georgia. Their athletic program consists of Cross country, volleyball, cheerleading, softball, and football in the fall; Basketball, swimming and a step team in the winter; and soccer, baseball, and track in the Spring. The cross country team was led by Coach Mark Tolcher to back-to-back-to-back state titles in 2006, 2007, and 2008 and led the girls team to a state title in 2008 as well. The girls track team won state titles in 2006 and 2007. The football team last season set Mercy history with more games won in a season.
