Palazzo Giusti is a 16th century palace in Padova, Italy. It is of a neo-Classical design, and is surrounded by the Giardino Giusti, a splendid Renaissance park climbing upon a hill. The Giusti family, owner of the palace since the XVIth century, was entitled by the Austro-Hungarian Emperor to change its original surname into that of Giusti del Giardino just because of the importance of the park. The Giusti family, owner of the palace since the XVIth century, was entitled by the Austro-Hungarian Emperor to change its original surname into that of Giusti del Giardino just because of the importance of the park. The Armistice of villa Giusti ended warfare between Italy and Austria-Hungary on the Italian Front during World War I. The armistice was signed on 3 November 1918 and took effect 24 hours later. less
