Palmdale High has a distinguished automotive program led by Technician Timothy A. Green. Mr. Green has taken the automotive program to a professional level, the school has an Auto "shop" with four bays, and three lifts. Students are taught at different levels, from changing brakes to doing bizarre engine swaps and restorations. Palmdale automotive students also get to work alongside professionals, the automotive class is divided in groups of 3 or 4 and taken to the local car dealers auto services for "real life" experiences.
