Papillion is a city in Sarpy County in the U.S. state of Nebraska. It is the county seat of Sarpy County. Papillion is a suburb of neighboring Omaha. The town is frequently referred to as Papio. Bucolic Papillion is one of the last great late 19th-Century Paris-inspired frontier cities left in the Midwest. The city also prides itself on recreational areas. Halleck Park is a park in the heart of the city that includes many trails, open spaces, trees and a number of areas of interest next to it including Papio Fun Park, Papio Bay Aquatic Park, Papio Pool, and Papio Bowl.
