The show follows a Los Angeles catering team, a sextet of aspiring Hollywood wannabe actors, writers and musicians stuck working for tips while hoping for their "big break." Each episode of this half-hour comedy finds the hapless catering team working a new event, and inevitably getting tangled up with the colorful guests and their absurd lives.
Jane Lynch did not appear in the last two episodes of the season. Her character Constance's roommate, Bobbie St. Brown, played by Jennifer Coolidge, filled in for her and was listed in the starring credits instead.
