Paul W. Gardanier, Director of Quality Assurance at OptiMedica, has over twenty years
experience in Quality, Operations and Engineering for a number of
Silicon Valley electronic product companies. His diverse technology
experience includes the ophthalmic & monitoring medical device,
explosive & drug detection, engineering computer workstation, and
semiconductor industries. Mr. Gardanier has extensive management
experience in both startup and high growth manufacturing company
environments.
Prior to joining OptiMedica, Mr. Gardanier was a Systems Engineering
Manager at InVision Technologies, a manufacturer of Computer Tomography
(CT) based civilian aviation security equipment. Before that, he worked
in Quality and Manufacturing Engineering management positions at
LifeScan, a glucose monitoring device manufacturer, and at Silicon
Graphics in the area of high speed RISC-based visual computing systems.
Mr. Gardanier received a B.S. in Systems Engineering and a M.S. in
Industrial Engineering from the University of Arizona. He is a
registered Professional Engineer in the State of California and is a
Senior Member in ASQ, RAPS, IIE and SME professional societies.
