Paul Gurner Maholm (born June 25, 1982) is a Major League Baseball left-handed starting pitcher for the Chicago Cubs.

He made his major league debut, as a starter, on August 30, 2005 against the Milwaukee Brewers and pitched 8.0 shutout innings, earning his first career win. He finished the 2005 season, providing the Pirates with a 3-1 record in 6 games, with a 2.18 ERA.
