Peter Batten provided the voice of George Harrison in the 1968 movie Yellow Submarine. Batten was also a deserter from the British Army and was arrested during recording, and his lines were finished by Paul Angelis (the voice of Ringo Starr in the movie). according to the special features section of the Yellow submarine dvd, he provided the voice of Ringo for the first half.
