Peter Shergold

Peter Roger Shergold AC (born 27 September 1946) is an Australian academic and former public servant. Until February 2008, he was the Secretary of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C;), and as such was the nation's most senior public servant and a key adviser to the Prime Minister of Australia.
