Philippine Islands

The Philippines Islands was one of the dependencies of Spain in the Pacific until the Spanish-American war. The Philippines consists of 7,107 islands in the western Pacific Ocean, bordering countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia and Palau, although it is the only Southeast Asian country to share no land borders with its mainland asian neighbors at all. The 3 main regions of this Island nation are Luzon, The Visayas and Mindanao.
