Somdet Chaofa Prajadhipok Sakdidej was born 8 November 1893 in Bangkok to King Chulalongkorn and Queen, Saovabha Bongsri. Prince Prajadhipok was the youngest born to the couple, the youngest of nine. Overall however he was the King's 76th child out of the 77th children, he produced with various wives. The Prince was also the 33rd and the youngest of Chulalongkorn's sons.
