Preparation for the Festival of Britain

The preparation for the Festival of Britain include the management, design and construction of attractions and shows which featured in the Festival of Britain in 1951.  The appointed Director of Architecture for the Festival of Britain was Hugh Casson, just 38 at the time of appointment, and was praised for his delegation of attractions to other young architects.  The graphic designer was Abram Games. more
