Queen of Swords is an action-adventure television series produced between the two Zorro films, The Mask of Zorro (1998) and The Legend of Zorro (2005), set in California during the early 19th century that ran for one season, from 2000 to 2001. The show is about a young noblewoman who is Tessa Alvarado by day and a Zorro-style masked avenger by day and night known as the Queen of Swords. The Queen of Swords robs from the oppressive Military Alcalde and returns money to the oppressed peasants while righting wrongs, protecting the innocent, punishing the guilty and trying to find the murderer of her father.
