Rafe Spall

Rafe Joseph Spall (born 10 March 1983) is an English actor. Rafe Joseph Spall (born 10 March 1983) is an English actor. He landed an agent after he was spotted in a National Youth Theatre production of Nicholas Nickleby and has since appeared on TV and the stage, and in films such as The Calcium Kid (2004) and Hot Fuzz (2007), as well as appearing in the Grindhouse (2007) segment Don't. He has also worked with the band Arkane. In 2004, he appeared in the film Shaun Of The Dead, and later in 2005, played football hooligan Swill in Green Street alongside Charlie Hunnam. In 2009 he appears in the Channel 4 pilot Pete vs Life and will star in If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet, a new play at the Bush Theatre in London. Spall was born in East Dulwich, London, England. He was named after the title character in The Knight of the Burning Pestle which his father (actor Timothy Spall) played in the Royal Shakespeare Company's 1981 production of the play, and which Rafe himself played in 2005..
