Michael "Raine" Maida (born February 18, 1970) is a Canadian-born singer and songwriter, best known as being the vocalist and co-founder of the rock band Our Lady Peace. Throughout the band's history, Maida has written most of the band's songs, and in the band's early years often wrote cryptic, poetry-influenced lyrics.
