Randall resembles an anthropomorphic lizard, with the ability to change his color from purple and blue to blend into his surroundings at will, much like a chameleon. Interestingly, Randall's camouflage ability varies in different ways throughout the film. For example, sometimes he'll disappear with or without his face still visible, or he'll change color by touching something. He also has a long prehensile tail that he uses for hanging from things and closing doors. Also, Randall can cling to vertical surfaces and ceilings, much like a gecko.
