Walter Ray Allen (born July 20, 1975 in Merced, California), commonly referred to as Ray Allen, is an American professional basketball player for the NBA's Boston Celtics at the position of shooting guard. He has played professionally for the Milwaukee Bucks and Seattle SuperSonics, and collegiately at the University of Connecticut.
