Rebecca is the granddaughter of Congressman Henry B. Gonzalez. She has a law degree from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. She is also a former high school cheerleader. On March 14, 2003, it was announced that Rebecca would be featured in a promotional campaign for Anheuser-Busch products Bud Light and Budweiser.
