At dinner Red & Eric are bonding nicely cracking jokes about Earl. The next morning Earl shows up late again and Red tells Eric to leave the room because he is going to fire Earl then yells at him for about fifteen minutes. At home Eric tells Red he was mean to Earl because he used to be his friend but Red tells him you have to work and not make excuses at work.
