"Red Light on the Wedding Night" is the third episode of the second season of the television series Gilmore Girls. It originally aired on October 16, 2001. Lorelai and Max make their final wedding preparations. Since Max's apartment is being painted, he spends the weekend at Lorelai and Rory's house. Lorelai and Max go on a double date with Rory and Dean, and Dean gives Max advice on how to handle the Gilmore girls. But the evening ends badly when Max and Lorelai end up arguing about Max's role in the family. Lorelai confesses that she hasn't thought at all about how they will combine their lives once they are married. For Lorelai's bachelorette party, she, Rory, Sookie, Miss Patty, and Michel go to a drag club called The Queen Victoria. As a surprise, Michel has also invited Emily.
