This secular requiem for soloists, choir and orchestra is a collaborative composition of Marco Betta (Lux aeterna), Lorenzo Ferrero (Introito), Carlo Galante (Dies irae), Paolo Arcà, (Offertorio), Matteo D'Amico (Sanctus), Giovanni Sollima (Agnus Dei) and Marco Tutino (Libera me) to a text by Vincenzo Consolo, written in 1992 and first performed in the Palermo Cathedral on March 27, 1993.
