Richard joins Vormetric with over 20 years of technology industry
experience. Most recently Richard was a Venture Partner at venture
capital firm Bay Partners and was on the Board of a number of high tech
software companies. Prior to joining Bay Partners, Richard was Senior
Vice President of Products with Siebel Systems, where he drove product
direction, strategy, and execution for over $1 billion in products, and
integrated and managed five acquisitions of innovative software
companies. He also served in senior management roles at Apple Computer,
Sun Microsystems and Borland. Richard has been involved in a number of
startups, including Ansa Software (developers of Paradox), which was
acquired by Borland. Richard attended the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology for five years and has a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science
and a Master’s degree in management from the MIT Sloan School of
Management.
