Tucholka has been a RPG Designer, comic book publisher, book reviewer, staff writer for Stardate and Stardrive magazines, and a science fiction fan. He has participated in science fiction conventions and gaming conventions since 1973 and is a member of Sci-Fi Fandom's The Dorsai. He is also a Senior Computer Technician for a world wide parts supplier of the automotive industry.
As of 2009, Tucholka lives in Oak Park, Michigan, where he manages Tri Tac Games. His best known role-playing game, Bureau 13, was voted Best Fantasy RPG of 1991 by the RPGA Network at Gen Con.
