In the 1970-71 season, they reached the 1st round of the FA Cup, the first village club side to reach that stage. For the 2008-09 season, they are members of Sussex County League Division One.
The club's ground is the Caburn Ground (or simply "the Caburn").
Ringmer were favourites to be relegated at the end of the 2008/2009 season, but even after a ten point deduction, the club finished healthily in the top half of the league.
For season 2009/10 Bob Munnery is the Ringmer manager. After going into administration the club has a good crop of young players, and a supportive backroom team. They could be a surprise package in season 2009/10.
