According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 19.2 square miles (49.7 km²), all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there were 2,777 people, 726 households, and 675 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 144.6 people per square mile (55.8/km²).
