Roger K. Furse

Roger Kemble Furse (11 September 1903 - 19 August 1972) was a English art director and costume designer of stage and film. The son of Lieutenant General Sir William Furse, Roger Furse was educated at Eton and the Slade School of Fine Arts. A frequent collaborator with Laurence Olivier, Furse won two Oscars in 1948 for his art direction and costume design of Olivier's version of “Hamlet”.
