Coppola was born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, the son of set decorator/artist Eleanor Coppola (née Neil) and Francis Ford Coppola. Coppola had a small role as one of the sons of Tom Hagen during the funeral scene in The Godfather. He also played Santino Corleone as a young boy in the 1974 film The Godfather Part II. He oversaw the in-camera visual effects for his father's 1992 film Bram Stoker's Dracula.
