Malco was born in Brooklyn, New York to a Trinidadian father. He began his career at the age of seven, when he picked up a microphone and started rapping. Malco was working as a music producer on The Pest starring John Leguizamo when the actor, impressed by Malco's dynamic personality, encouraged him to pursue acting.
Malco played Conrad Shepard on the show Weeds, and recently appeared in the films The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Blades of Glory, Baby Mama, and The Chateau. He also portrayed rapper MC Hammer in the TV movie Too Legit: The MC Hammer Story, which aired on VH1 in 2001. In 2000, he played Jerry Hooten in Level 9.
